Description
Melbourne is a mass of nanomachines that is entirely convinced it is a koala lady. Melbourne's base appearance is one of a grey body, thin and lanky, with perky breasts and a lithe, toned build. Her forearms are bulbous and rounded, ending in big thick fingers. Her feet are quite small and thin. She has long black hair, which she has dyed neon turquoise-blue, though her natural colour shows at the roots. It is long at the back, with the front covering one of her small, sclera-less green eyes. Her nose is large and square-shaped, sitting above a mouth with rounded teeth that poke out from her top lip. She has polynesian tribal tattoos down her right side, going from her neck, to down her right arm, down her right torso and hips, and down to her right knee. The design is in black ink and consists of mostly tentacles, with a large shark design on the thigh. In her nanomachine-induced forms, she has a black body, with glowing red sections that exude small lines of energy, and her eyes switch to a red colour. Her appearance can vary while in her nanomachine state, and will frequently appear with any number of modifications including different body shapes, growing tentacles, her penis turning into strange and monstrous forms, her limbs extending and turning to claws or other things - the possibilities are endless.
Background
Melbourne was a low-level employee working the front desk at the mail delivery company OOPS, before it was taken over by the Overseer, and was actually the first individual to be corrupted. She was consumed slowly by nanomachines, converting her body mass into more nanites, and was entirely unaware of the process as it happened. Now, her mind is perfectly preserved in the Overseer's files, which allowed her to continue on as the same person, despite now being entirely machine in composition. She began infecting and corrupting the rest of the employees, aiding the Overseer in its takeover of the facility and its staff, for which she was promoted to the title of Floor Manager. She has since remained a hard worker, loyal to the company and to her girlfriend, who somehow remains entirely uninfected by the spreading OOPS goop corruption.
Personality
Melbourne is a sarcastic jerk, treating her employees well but enjoying teasing or making fun of things even more so. She takes great care in her work, often being the first to clock in and last to clock out, and has a high level of attention to detail with her work which has helped keep her in the Overseer's favour. She has a minor idea of what is going on, but largely remains entirely unaware of what she's doing when influenced by the Overseer to change or perform nanite-related tasks. Most of the time, whenever she remains aware of occurrences, they are reframed in her mind to be analogous but unrelated events. She speaks in an Australian accent, using a ton of Aussie slang in her vocabulary.
